Patriotic Jello Shots

        In a medium bowl, whisk:

·       TWO boxes (3oz each) of strawberry jello

·       1 envelope of unflavored gelatin

Gently stir in:

·       1 ¾ cups of boiling water

·       1/4 cup Coconut White Balsamic

Cool to room temperature and pour into a 9x13-inch glass pan that has been lightly greased with our Chocolate Extra Virgin Olive Oil or sprayed with a nonstick spray.

Carefully place pan in the refrigerate on a level surface and let the jello set for 20 minutes.

2.      While the first layer is setting, prepare the white layer. In another bowl, mix:

·       One 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk

·       1 cup of boiling water

In a separate small bowl, sprinkle:

·       2 envelopes of unflavored gelatin over 1/2 cup of cold water

Let stand a few minutes and then add 1/2 cup of boiling water to dissolve the gelatin. Add gelatin to the milk mixture and stir to combine. Cool to room temperature. Gently pour this milk mixture over the red jello layer. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

3.      While the white layer is setting, whisk:

·       TWO boxes (3oz each) of blue jello (raspberry, or any berry flavor)

·       1 envelope of unflavored gelatin

Gently stir in:

·       1 ¾ cup of boiling water

·       1/4 cup Strawberry Peach White Balsamic

Cool to room temperature and gently pour over white layer. Set in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, or until the jello is completely set.

4.     Once Jello is set, use a sharp knife to cut jello into squares. Scoop out with a metal spatula and serve. Enjoy!

 

*Adult Version: Substitute 1/2 cup of boiling water in the red and blue layer with your choice of vodka. Mix the alcohol and 1/4 cup balsamic in after the jello has dissolved from the 1 1/4 cup of boiling water.
